Your phone system is a profit centre not an expense

Your phone system makes you moneyDo you look at your phone system as an expense? A bill you have to pay? A headache that you want to squeeze as much out of as possible and only replace if it breaks beyond economical repair?

Stop it

That’s right, stop looking at your phone system that way. Imagine if you didn’t have a phone would your customers reach you? would you make calls to them?

Think about how many calls you take a month, then compare that to how much money your company makes a month. What you wind up with can be viewed as your revenue per call, because it’s likely your phone system was involved in each and every transaction.

If you think of it that way, every time you use your phone you could say “that call made me $5” or whatever your number is.

Now, wouldn’t that be something you should invest in? Shouldn’t you have a phone system that works WITH your business, one that you understand and know how to use? One that makes you money every time you use it?
